Steering problems are not something to drive around with. Whether it’s a vague, wandering feel on the motorway, heaviness at low speed, or a knocking noise through the wheel on uneven roads, something in the steering system needs attention, and the sooner it’s looked at, the better.

Symptoms that warrant an inspection

• The vehicle pulling to one side when driving straight
• Heaviness, stiffness, or inconsistency in the steering feel

• Excessive play or vagueness in the steering wheel
• A steering warning light on the dashboard
